| Martin Wolfenden is a British comedy writer and actor. He was born in the West Yorkshire town of Halifax. In 1995 he started his first website entitled Oscar’s Fan Club named after Oscar Wilde. However in 2000 after discovering that the site was becoming confused with those devoted to the Oscars™ he changes the title to Brainjam. As an actor Martin won a number of awards for his one man show ‘Wolf at the Door’ which in 1997 appeared on the Edinburgh fringe. However he is predominantly a comedy writer and has contributed material to a number of radio shows and many newspaper and magazine columns. Martin is gay and occasionally writes comedy articles for the gay press. In 2006 Martin started a production company called which according to the website will be supporting unrecognised talent.
