Marton Csokas (born June 30, 1966 in Invercargill New Zealand) is an actor with Hungarian origins. He is best known internationally for his role as Celeborn in the films The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. He has also made numerous appearances in Xena: Warrior Princess. He is a graduate of the New Zealand Drama School in 1989. He is named after his father, who is from Hungary.
