Marilyn Star (born Kathryn Gannon on April 12, 1969, in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada) is an adult film actress.

Most notable appearances: Babewatch (1995), Smells Like... Sex (1995), Marylin Does Miami (1998) (actress and director), Marilyn Whips Wallstreet (2000).

In 1999 she was charged for inside trading on information given by a former lover James McDermott, who was an investment banker, and for sharing that information with another lover Anthony Pomponio. Illegal activities lasted from May 1997, to the summer of 1998. Marilyn escaped from arrest by fleeing to Canada, but was later extradited back to the United States.

In October 2002, in a Manhattan federal court, she was sentenced to three months in prison. Her comments on that matter were, that she got into trouble because she was a naïve young woman who dated an older man.
