Matthew Langford Perry (born August 19, 1969) is an American-Canadian actor, most famous for playing the role of Chandler Bing on the American television sitcom Friends (1994-2004). Perry has also guest starred in Ally McBeal, The West Wing, Scrubs, and has lent his voice to The Simpsons. He has also appeared on Punk'd.

While born in Williamstown, Massachusetts, USA, Perry was raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He is the son of character actor John Bennett Perry
(b. January 4, 1941) and Suzanne Perry Morrison (who had been a press secretary for Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau). His stepfather is NBC newscaster Keith Morrison and stepmother Debbie Perry. He has four half-sisters and one half-brother. Younger half-sister, Caitlin Morrison, younger half-sister, Emily Morrison, one younger half-brother, Willy Morrison, younger half-sister, Madeleine Morrison and younger half-sister, Marie Perry. Matthew attended Rockcliffe Park Public School, in Ottawa.
