| Maxine Peake is an English actress, born in 1974 in Bolton, Lancashire, England, UK who attended Westhoughton High School. She has appeared in a number of television and stage plays including Channel 4's Shameless and Victoria Wood's dinnerladies. It was announced that she would play Myra Hindley in a television drama (planned for broadcast in 2006), about the 'Moors murders'. the drama was called at the time of production, See No Evil.
