Meena, is one of the most successful actress in South Indian cinema. Meena was born on September 16, 1976 in Chennai (formerly Madras), Tamil Nadu.

Biography

Meena started her career as a child artist in Telugu films and Tamil films. She acted with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan , and later became a star in her own right. She had hits with Muthu, Ejaman, Veera and Avvai Sanmughi. Meena has a huge fan following in Japan. She has acted in almost all the south Indian languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada etc. Her first film was 'Nenjangal' with Sivaji Ganesan as child artist. She was in the industry as the top heroine in Telugu and Tamil for almost one and a half decades successfully from early 1990s.
