| Melanie Hill (born January 11 1962 in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear) is an English actress. She played Aveline in the last two series' of Carla Lane's Bread. She has also appeared in such programmes as The Bill playing Marie Carver (nee Graham), Auf Wiedersehen, Pet playing Hazel Redfern, and Juliet Bravo playing Jean Simpson. Between 1990 and 1997 she was married to Sean Bean.
