Michelle Federer (born December 5, 1973) is an American theatre and film actress. Michelle grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio and graduated in 1995 from Ithaca College with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Her Broadway debut was made in 2003 as Nessarose in Stephen Schwartz's musical, Wicked
. Michelle, who was the longest-remaining member of the original principals, left the production on January 8, 2006 and was succeeded by fellow Wicked veteran and understudy Cristy Candler. Prior to that, Michelle had starred in many small film roles, most recently Kinsey
opposite Liam Neeson and Laura Linney. She also acted in the Off-Broadway production of A Man of No Importance.

Michelle will next be seen in the Broadway play Three Days of Rain, in which she will standby for Julia Roberts in the roles of Nan and Linda.
