| Mina Anwar (born September 20, 1969 in Church, Lancashire, England) is a British actress who is best known for playing Police Constable Maggie Habib in the sitcom The Thin Blue Line which was shown on BBC 2 from 1995 to 1997. Other roles include the recurring part of Dr. Sandra Malik in The Bill in 2003 (a more serious police drama), and most recently she played Sister Zita Khan in Doctors and Nurses. Anwar is a trained mezzo-soprano. She is also the founder and director of an underwear company called Aware International, which produces clothing with secret pockets for storing money and other personal items. Anwar gained an A level in Theatre in Performance at the Accrington and Rossendale College in 1988.
