Misha Sedgwick is an actress and producer. She grew up in California and became involved with community theater in high school, and at the age of 18 moved to New York City. She made her off-Broadway debut in 2004 as Edie Sedgwick (no relation), in the play Andy & Edie, about the relationship between Edie Sedgwick and Andy Warhol.

Controversial identity claim

Misha has been publicly identified as the niece of Edie Sedgwick, Andy Warhol's close companion and inspiration in 1965. However, in 2006, Edie's only living brother, Jonathan, denied that Misha is Edie's niece.
