Monique Coleman is an African-American actress who is one of the co-stars of Disney Channel's hit original movie, High School Musical, in which she plays Gabriella Montez's (played by Vanessa Anne Hudgens) best friend Taylor.

Television Appearances

Aside from playing her best friend in High School Musical, Monique also was a guest star with Vanessa in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody episodes, Forever Plaid, Not So Suite 16, and Neither a Borrower Nor a Speller Bee. She also guest-starred on the show without Vanessa in A Prom Story. Aside from those four guest appearances, Monique has had seven others on the television shows Boston Public, Gilmore Girls, Malcolm in the Middle, Strong Medicine, 10-8, Married to the Kellys, and Veronica Mars.
