Nancy Campbell Cartwright (born October 25, 1957) is an American actress and voice actor. She is best known for providing the voice of Bart Simpson on the animated television show The Simpsons. She has also loaned her voice for Margo Sherman on The Critic, Gilda Gossip on Galaxy High, Mindy from Animaniacs, Chuckie Finster on Rugrats (replacing Christine Cavanaugh in 2001) and All Grown Up!, and Rufus the Naked Mole Rat in Kim Possible. She attended Ohio University, in Athens, OH, and is a member of the Church of Scientology.

Cartwright published her first book, My Life as a Ten Year-Old Boy, in 2000. This book was converted into a stage show, which was performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2004. It was not particularly well-received by many reviewers (for example , or ).

In 2005, an incorrect news story circulated that Cartwright had entered politics and been elected mayor of Northridge, California. In fact, Cartwright had been honored with the ceremonial title of "Honorary Mayor" by the Northridge Chamber of Commerce. Northridge is a neighborhood of Los Angeles and has no office of mayor.

Recently, Cartwright has become a contributor to ASIFA-Hollywood's Animation Archive Project.
