Nargis is film-actress turned stage dancer. She is more popular because of her dances.Unlike actresses like Madiha Shah, Sana, Laila and many others, Nargis had real talent for expressive acting. It’s sad that Nargis was dismissed as just a gloss object. Those who saw the beauty in Idrees Khan’s Aalmi Ghunde (Global Thugs), in a pivotal role of a lady head of the state,are convinced that Nargis fitted perfectly in the role,unfortunately, while the script was brilliant by Nasir Adeeb, director Idrees Khan seemed to have little idea about what sort of grandeur that was needed for such a strong theme. After that role, Nargis hardly got a role to test her skills. Roles in movies like Kuri Munda Razi and Kala Raj had type-casted her and her career suffered as well as her reputation as a solo star. Nargis gave the sacrifice of her cascading hair to do a most unusual role of a bald woman for Omar Sharif’s Chand Babu.Her vampish role has seriously sidelined her as a top heroine.

Ogled at closely, Nargis is a perfect beauty. Her wheatish complexion is full of magical features. Fabulous hair sprinkling over her shapely shoulders and neck like a small water fall over a wine goblet, magnetic eyes with their ends curved up to make them a physical feature from the age of pharaohs, before the couple of her sizzling lips.

She had a long term scandalous affair with a notorious Police Officer by the name of Abid aka Abid Boxer.He used to abuse her physically till she disclosed it to the public which eventually resulted in their separation.

She appears regularly on stage plays and theater musicals in Lahore,Multan and other cities throughout Pakistan.
