"New Angels of Promise" is a song written by David Bowie and Reeves Gabrels for the album 'hours...'
in 1999. As with some of the other songs from 'hours...' it was originally written for the computer game Omikron - The Nomad Soul in 1999, where it was used as the theme song.

In the game version of this song, the lyrics of the chorus was slightly different with "suspicious minds" changed to "omikron".

Other releases

The version from Omikron - The Nomad Soul was released on the bonus disc that followed the 2004 reissue of 'hours...' .
