Nozomi Momoi (桃井望, September 23, 1978 – October 12, 2002) was a Japanese up-and-coming porn starlet best known for her "baby face that topped off a huge set of boobs" who appeared in over 100 movies. She acted in one movie per week. She was murdered when she was 24.

Murder

She died of stab wounds in a murder suicide in Shiojiri, Japan. She was 24. A burned out car was found on the banks of the Narai River that runs through Shiojiri. The murderer's body was found inside. The murderer, whose name was not released by the police, was a company employee who lived in Nagano Prefecture.

Nozomi's body was found about 10 meters (roughly 30 feet) away from the car. She had been stabbed at least six times and left lying face-down on the ground.

The police determined that Nozomi was sitting in the passenger seat of the car when she was stabbed in the right armpit. (Automobiles in Japan are driven from the right seat.) She got out of the car only for her killer to track her down and stab her several more times to the abdomen. He then poured gasoline on her and set her on fire.

Nozomi went to junior high school in Nagano and had friends who lived in the prefecture. She visited Nagano whenever she was on holiday.
