Number One Fan is the 16th episode of Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh
. It first aired on September 19th, 2004.

Plot synopsis

The plot follows a girl named Wendy who is a friend of Megan's from her Campfire Kids troop who has a crush on Drake, and starts interfering with his school life, love life, and becomes overall annoying. Drake is going to be on the Star 99 songwriters spotlight where he has the opportunity to play one of his songs on the radio. When he gets there he realizes he doesn't have a guitar pick and he reaches down in his pocket to see if he has one and finds a note from Wendy. Earlier Drake had yelled at her to leave him alone because she put his poster up regarding the Star 99 gig all over one of his classrooms. When he reads the note he starts to feel bad about what he said. In the end, Drake gives in, and makes her dream come true to sing a song "just for her".

Trivia

The song Drake performs is called "Down We Fall" and was written by Drake Bell and Michael Corcoran for the show. It appears on the Drake and Josh soundtrack as well as Bell's debut CD, Telegraph.
