| Patrick Muldoon (born William Patrick Muldoon III on September 27, 1968 in San Pedro, California) is an American actor born to an Irish-American father and a Croatian-born mother. He attended a Jesuit high school. Muldoon was for being the first to play the role of Austin Reed on Days of Our Lives. He played the character from 1992 to 1995. He later played the role of Richard Hart on the primetime soap opera, Melrose Place from 1995 to 1996. He also appeared in the film Starship Troopers.
