Patrick Wilson (born July 3, 1973 in Norfolk, Virginia) is an American theater and film actor and singer. He has appeared in the Broadway musicals The Full Monty
and Oklahoma!
, the HBO miniseries Angels in America, The Alamo
and as Raoul de Chagny the movie-musical The Phantom of the Opera
(2004).

His upcoming films include: "Hard Candy", "American Gothic", "Running With Scissors", "Little Children" and "Purple Violets".

In 2006 he will return to the Broadway stage in a revival of Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park", opposite Amanda Peet and Jill Clayburgh. It starts previews Jan 24 and opens February 16, 2006 at the Cort Theater.

In June 2005, Patrick married Polish-American actress Dagmara Dominczyk. They both are graduates of the drama program at prestigious Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. (He graduated in 1995, she graduated in 1998). They are expecting a baby in Spring 2006.

Trivia

His father John, and his brother Mark, both work for WTVT-TV in Tampa, Florida as news anchors. His brother Paul heads an advertising firm in that area, too.
