Paul Keane is an Australian actor well known for playing Des Clarke in the soap opera Neighbours from 1985-1990

Together with Neighbours co-stars Alan Dale, Elaine Smith and Peter O'Brien, he performed in a pop group called Suitably Rough.

According to The Mirror, Paul, after leaving the show aged 47, fought drug addiction, quit acting and ended up working in a pub.
