| Peter Adams was a New Zealand-born actor, best remembered for his performances in Australian television. He appeared in the soap opera Number 96 and then became a leading cast member in the police procedural series Cop Shop as Detective Jeff Johnson. After the series was axed in 1984, he joined Prisoner as tough Acting Governor Bob Moran. He died in 1999, aged 61.
