Pierre Richard (born August 16, 1934) is a French actor and director.

Generally considered as one of the best French 'comiques' ever. Though he often played laughable roles in movies, he has a real touch for drama that can be felt on stage. A gifted actor, he also proved able to put in good directing performances.
