Birth and Childhood

Born in Bangalore, her schooling was in Sacred Hearts school, Ooty. Then she did her degree in St.Josephs College of Commerce, Bangalore.

She started participating in stage shows and dancing from her school days, this removed all her stage fear in early age. She knows to read and speak Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam.

Rising Fame

Ramya stepped into the film industry with Kannada movie Abhi starring against powerstar Puneet Rajkumar. She made her hatrick recently with the movies Akash, Gowramma and Amrutha Dhaare all completed 100 days. She has starred against most famous actors like Upendra, Puneet, Sudeep, Darshan, Murali. Her new movie Julie starring Dino Morea from Bollywood is now ready to be released.
