| Raiyo "Ray" Panthaki is best known for the role he played on BBC soap opera EastEnders as Ronny Ferreira (2003-2005). He also starred in the hit British film 28 Days Later, Ali G Indahouse, Losing it and Bollywood Queen. He has also co-produced films Kidulthood (2005) and Licks (2002). On the 30th August 2004, he had his face slashed with a bottle which needed hospital attention. The attack took place in the Faces Club in Gants Hill, Essex, after a girl caused a fight between Ray and her boyfriend, the boyfriend picked up the bottle and attacked him whilst he was with his EastEnders co-star, Brooke Kinsella.
