Ray Wise (born 20 August, 1947 in Akron, Ohio, USA) is an American actor, best known for his role in Twin Peaks as Leland Palmer.

He made an appearance as Arturis in the Star Trek: Voyager fourth season episode "Hope and Fear", and played Michael Dugan, President of the United States, in the computer real-time strategy games Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 and its expansion Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge. He also appeared as the demon Ludlow in The WB television series Charmed, for the episode Lost and Bound. He also played Don Hollenbeck in the George Clooney film Good Night, And Good Luck. He is currently starring as Vice President Hal Gardner on the acclaimed FOX show 24
