Richard Kind (b. November 22, 1956) is an actor best known for his roles in the hit sitcoms Mad About You and Spin City. He is a graduate of Northwestern University. He is also an alumnus of The Second City Chicago where one of his castmates was Dan Castellaneta.

He created the role of Addison Mizner in Stephen Sondheim's Bounce, and has appeared on Broadway in The Tale of the Allergist's Wife (2000), The Producers (2002), and Sly Fox (2004). He also appeared as the "Jury Foreman" in the film The Producers(2005). He will also make a huge family comeback with The Wild
as Larry the anaconda, And he is the voice of "Clark" in the "Lewis & Clark" radio commercials for Horizon Air with Patrick Warburton as "Lewis". He also lends his voice to the character Molt in Disney's A Bugs Life, and Tom the cat in Tom and Jerry: The Movie

Actor/Director George Clooney is a close friend, and was best man at Kind's wedding. Kind later went on to appear in Clooney's directorial debut Confessions of a Dangerous Mind
as a casting director, and played himself on the short-lived HBO series Unscripted which is executive-produced by Clooney.

Most recently you can hear Kind in Stitch's Great Escape at the Magic Kingdom at The Walt Disney World Resort.
