| Richard Ney (November 12, 1915 – July 18, 2004) was an American actor and investment counselor. He is best-remembered for his role in the Oscar-winning World War II film Mrs. Miniver (1942), and for his short-lived (1943–1947) marriage to his co-star Greer Garson, who played his mother in the film. He acted in mostly in television with occasional film roles until the mid-1960s, by which time he had successfully transitioned to a career as an investment counselor. He wrote several books about Wall Street. He was a graduate in economics from Columbia University in New York.
