Rikki Lee Travolta (born 20 September 1975) is an Italian-American and Nez Perce actor and singer hailing from the well known entertainment clan that has produced Academy Award-nominated actor John Travolta; Broadway actress Ellen Travolta; noted director Joey Travolta; television actress Margaret Travolta; ingénues Rachel Travolta and Nicole Travolta; playwright Molly Allen Ritter; and character actors Tom Fridley, Sam Travolta, and Annie Travolta.

Travolta first gained notoriety as a child star of such touring vehicles as Oliver!

While working as a performer he earned a college degree in entertainment management while still a teenager. He also holds a master's degree in theatre and education.

Entering adulthood, Travolta then established a successful international career in pop music. His album Hero's Lullaby was honored in six categories on the 45th annual Grammy Awards nomination ballot.

Capitalizing on his looks and pop music fame, Travolta successfully returned to the stage in headlining tours of Broadway classics Bye Bye Birdie
, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Guys and Dolls
, and West Side Story.

As documented by Broadway World, Travolta is ranked alongside Donny Osmond and Patrick Cassidy in the Top Three worldwide headliners of the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat based on audience popularity and box office returns.

With Travolta in the cast the stage show recorded its highest ticked sales and went on to become the longest running stage comedy in history. Travolta was rumored to be the successor to Pierce Brosnan as James Bond after Brosnan was released from the role in 2004. According to Axcess News Travolta, Clive Owen, and Hugh Jackman are all said to have been approached and turned the role down; however, the producers have stated they only "officially" offered the role to Daniel Craig, who eventually accepted.

In 2002 Travolta released his first novel: My Fractured Life. The well received literary debut was named a Top Ten recommended book by Amazon.com. Reviews at Barnes and Noble's internet site (bn.com) call the book "groundbreaking" and compare it to Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, Running With Scissors by Augusten Burroughs, Less Than Zero
