| Rita Yahan-Farouz Kleinstein (born 1962 in Teheran), known as Rita, is a popular singer and actress in Israel. She immigrated to Israel from Iran in 1970 . Rita represented Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 1990. In 1989 she was elected Israel actress of the year. In 2004 in Tel Aviv she starred as Roxie Hart in forty performances of Ehud Manor's Hebrew translation of Chicago. The production sold 55,000 tickets. Rita is married to popular pianist, composer, and singer Rami Kleinstein.
