| Robert A. Riggle, Jr., born April 21, 1970, in Overland Park, Kansas, is a former featured player (2004-2005) on NBC's Saturday Night Live. His first appearance was on the show's 30th season premiere on October 2, 2004, with host Ben Affleck and musical guest Nelly. He has portrayed Larry the Cable Guy, Howard Dean, Rick Sanchez and Toby Keith. Before his time on SNL, he was one of the "Flab Four" on the failed parody of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Straight Plan for the Gay Man. He is comedic partners with Rob Huebel, a comedian he worked with in the improvisational comedy troupe Respecto Montalban. In 2006, Riggle guest-starred as a boat captain on The Office and as a politican on Arrested Development. He will be seen in the upcoming film Talladega Nights with Will Ferrell. A former member of the United States Marine Corps, Riggle served in both Kosovo and Afghanistan.
