Rosemary Vandenbroucke (born 1982 in South of France, Chinese Name:虹萱), Hong Kong renowned supermodel and actress, and she has recently joined the career of singer-songwriter and fashion designer.

As supermodel and actress

Rosemary was born as half-Chinese with her Russian-French father and Chinese mother Julie (now acts as Rosemary's CD manager). She spent her childhood in France. After her primary school studies she went back to Hong Kong and attended international school in Hong Kong. In 14, she had participated 2nd Elite Model Look and got the championship. In year 1996 she had joined the life of supermodel. She had been Saint Laurent Ambassador 1998, appointed French apparel brand Yves Saint Laurent. Later she had gained lots of exposure in fashion shows, advertisements and films.

As singer-songwriter

Rosemary began to learn guitar and songwriting in year 2001 and in the past 3 years she had written about 30 songs. In 28 December 2005 she had signed with Rogers Music, UK, being the first Hong Kong artist being signed. Her debut album Dreams Come True would be released in 16 February 2006. All songs will be written by Rosemary herself, with contributions from herself in lead vocals and guitar. The album will have Cantonese, Mandarin and English songs. Her first major plugged hit is I Didn't Know, inspired for one of her male friends for he is in depression but she has no time to be with him. (29 December 2005, SINA Hong Kong)

Renowned Hong Kong singer Alan Tam has commented that her music has the style of famous band Fleetwood Mac and rich in country music style. ()

However, in several recent live performances, Rosemary have proven herself to be an "album" singer. This means with all the help from modern digital music technology, and professional sound engineers, she can appear to be singing in her voice in the right tune in an album, and only in an album. In all live perforances she has so far, she cracked her voice, went off tune, or even could not match up with the beat of the music. Failing to pronounce the lyrics as they should be, make some Hong Kong music critics started to suspect whether she really wrote her own songs, or did she just buy them from some talented but unfortunate composers/writers.

As fashion designer

In January 2006, Rosemary was invited by fashion manufacturer Suen Yan in mainland China to create her own fashion brand Rosemary, with fashion designed by herself. ()
