| Rudolph Walker (born September 28, 1939) is a British character actor. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Walker went to the United Kingdom in 1960. He is known for his comedic roles in Love Thy Neighbour and The Thin Blue Line and for a several-year stint on EastEnders. He also appeared in Doctor Who in 1969. He was the first black actor to be seen regularly on British TV, and has always been proud of his role on the controversial Love Thy Neighbour as a result. He can now be seen playing Patrick Trueman in EastEnders.
