| Sam Jenkins (born 1966 as Samantha Sorbo) is an American actress best-known for playing the role of Serena on the television series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. In the series, Hercules falls in love with Serena, they get married, but her character dies under mysterious circumstances. Jenkins also starred as Dr. Carole Eggert in the third season of Chicago Hope, and with Steve Buscemi in Twenty Bucks and "Ed and His Dead Mother".
