| Sam Worthington is an Australian actor, born 2 August 1976. He starred in the 2004 movie Somersault by director Cate Shortland, and the television drama series Love My Way. He is known to have screentested for the part of James Bond in 2005, but the role eventually went to Daniel Craig. It has been rumored that Worthingon came in at second place in the race to become the next James Bond, namely because the character of Bond in Casino Royale was originally going to be 28 years old.
