Biography

Sara Maldonado Fuentes was born on March 10th 1980 in the city of Jalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. She studied acting in "Centro de Educación Artística de Televisa" for 2 years. Maldonado also studied English and more acting while living in Vancouver, Canada in 2004.

Sara Maldonado participated in the Mexican beauty contest "El Rostro del Heraldo", which was organized by Mexican news paper "El Heraldo", and won first place.

Family

Her father is Mario and her mother Sara, and has 3 older brothers and sister: Mario, Jesús, and Fabiola.

Career

She debuted as the protagonist of the Mexican soap "El Juego de la Vida"(2001) in the role of Lorena 'Lore' Alvarez. In the years 2002 and 2003, she participated in the teen angst soap opera Mexican hit "Clase 406" in the role of Tatiana 'Tatis' Del Moral. In 2004 she was chosen again to the leading role of Diana Antillón De La Reguera in the soap "Corazones al límite". She set to appear as Sabrina Guzman in the new Mexican teen hit "Rebelde". Maldonado is also filming another soap opera "Herida de Amor" alongside Diana Bracho, Blanca Guerra, and Julio Camejo. She also was casted in the theater version of The Graduate nee' El Graduado alongside Margarita Gralia and Mauricio Ochmann.

Facts

Sara Maldonado is known for her green eyes. She shares an apartment with her friend, Monica Munoz in Mexico City.
