"Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)" is the title album track on David Bowie's Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)
. It was also released as the third single from that album in 1981. The aggressive song seems to track a difficult relationship, and shares themes with Bowie’s work on the Iggy Pop albums The Idiot and Lust for Life, and featured a notably frantic guitar performance from Robert Fripp.

The edited single release reached #20 in the UK charts. It has since been performed on a number of Bowie tours.

Bowie performed the song live on Saturday Night Live
February 8, 1997. This was later released on the album Saturday Night Live - 25 Years Volume 1.
Bowie and Reeves Gabrels performed an all acoustic country & western version of the song for the radio station WRXT in Canada October 16, 1997.
