| Scott Cohen (born December 19, 1964 in New York) is an American actor of Jewish descent. He is mostly known for his role as Wolf in the NBC mini-series The 10th Kingdom or for his recurring role as Max Medina on the WB TV Series Gilmore Girls. It is a course in clowning that led to the start of his acting career. In 1990 he was finally offered his breakthrough role in Adrian Lyne's Jacob's Ladder). He played in the NBC TV Series Law & Order: Trial by Jury in 2005 as Detective Chris Ravell. He is married to Anastasia Traina since 1989 and they have a son, Liam, born in 1995. Perhaps his greatest work was done as a parole officer in the excellent, short-lived Showtime original series "Street Time," also starring Rob Morrow.
