Scott Christopher Grimes (b. July 9, 1971) is an American actor.

He was born in Lowell, Massachusetts and has appeared in such TV shows as Party of Five and Band of Brothers. Grimes can also be seen in such movies as the 1986 science fiction film Critters
, the 1988 sequel Critters 2: The Main Course, Crimson Tide, from 1995 and Dreamkeeper, from 2003. He is perhaps most well-known for his 1987 recurring role on Who's the Boss as Samantha Micelli's love-interest, Chad McCann. He can be seen currently on the NBC Prime Time Show ER. Grimes has recently released an album entitled, Livin' on the Run and had a Top 20 hit on the Billboard magazine adult contemporary charts in April of 2005 called, Sunset Blvd. It was a song he co-wrote with his friend, Dave Harris, who is an American radio disc jockey on Retro rewind. He also was the enlisted man in the movie Crimson Tide which was threatened by the CO.

In 2005, Grimes began working as a voice actor on the animated sitcom, American Dad!, he currently is known for the role of Steve Smith.
