| Sessue Hayakawa (早川雪洲 Hayakawa Sessue, June 10, 1889 - November 23, 1973) was a Japanese actor in both Japanese and American films, including two in the U.S. National Film Registry. He was born in Nanaura, Chiba, Japan. For his contribution to the motion picture industry, Sessue Hayakawa was awarded a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame at 1645 Vine Street, in Hollywood, California. Sessue Hayakawa died in Tokyo in 1973. Partial filmography
