| Shannon Lynn McRandle (born c. 1970) is a professional model, picked by Lucasfilm to represent Mara Jade in the photos taken for the Star Wars card games. At the time the original photos were taken in 1998 she was known as Shannon Baksa, from her first marriage. She is now married to United States Navy veteran Jamie McRandle. According to the Star Wars storyline, Mara Jade was present in Jabba the Hutt's palace while Luke Skywalker was held captive. Before the release of the Star Wars DVDs, there was a rumour that McRandle was to appear in the remade version of Return of the Jedi potraying Mara Jade as a cameo. As of yet, this has not happened.
