| Sharon Maughan is a British television actress. She was born in Liverpool, United Kingdom on 22 June 1951. She currently appears in the BBC television drama series Holby City, in which she has played Nurse Tricia Williams since 2003. Prior to her casting in this series she was most famous in the UK for a seven-year stint from 1990 to 1997 in the popular advertisements for Nescafé Gold Blend instant coffee, alongside the actor Anthony Stewart Head. She married her fellow actor Trevor Eve in 1980 and they have three children together.
