| Sheila Ryan is a United States film actress, born in Topeka, Kansas. Ryan was signed by 20th Century Fox in 1940, and starred in Dressed to Kill in 1941. She appeared in a number of 1940s films including appearing opposite Laurel and Hardy in two movies. By the late 1940s her career wained and she began appearing in B-movies. One quality film from that part of her career was Railroaded!. Ryan retired from acting in 1958. She is not related to actor Scott Caan's acting mother who shares the same name.
