| Sid Owen (born 12 January 1972 in London, England) is a British actor. He is most famous for playing the role of Ricky Butcher in the BBC soap opera EastEnders, which he appeared in from 1988 until 2000 and then again from 2002 until 2004. Owen took part in a celebrity boxing match with Ben Fogle, for Sport Relief. In 2001 Owen released an ill-fated cover single 'Good Thing Going' He is currently running a restaurant in France. Owen took part in I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! where he carried out the first bushtucker trail with David Dickinson. He finished third in the series.
