Silambarasan, described as the most happening hero in Kollywood. He is known as "Simbu", "Chimbu" , "Little superstar" among his fans, Simbu is his Screen name. Son of veteran director T. Rajendar, who launched him in Kadhal Alzhivathillai. Simbu is a talented person like his father, he could do Playback singing, write script for movies, music composing and movie direction as well.

Though his film career was launched by his father, he could not taste the success easily. He worked hard to earn the success and good reputation in Kollywood, and now he is one among the top heroes of his genre in Tamil Cinema.
