| Simon Gipps-Kent was a British actor, well known for his television work as a child in the 1970s. He was born 25 October 1958 and died 16 September 1987 of morphine poisoning, in a suspected drugs overdose. His notable television credits include The Tomorrow People; Young Pip in the 1974 television adaptation of Great Expectations; To Serve Them All My Days; and as Seth in the Doctor Who story The Horns of Nimon. For a time he also played Kenton Archer on The Archers.
