| Simon McCorkindale (born February 12, 1952 in Cambridgeshire, England) is a well known British actor who trained at Theatre of Arts in London. Simon was born to Peter and Gill MacCorkindale. He has a younger brother, Duncan. He lives on a stud-farm near Exmoor with his wife, British actress Susan George, to whom he has been married since 1984. He has a vast number of acting credits to his name having appeared in a number of television and film roles both in United Kingdom and America, which include Quatermass, Falcon Crest, Manimal and Jaws 3. He is currently playing Harry Harper in the BBC One medical drama Casualty.
