Simon O'Brien (19 June 1965, Garston, Liverpool) is a British actor and television presenter.

He came to prominence as the character Damon Grant in Brookside, a role he played from 1982 until 1987. His character was killed off at the end of Damon and Debbie, a 'soap bubble' to Brookside.

He presented the UK version of Fraggle Rock from 1987 until 1988.

In the 1990s, he left show business and became a property developer.

He has played Wally Scott in Grange Hill since 2003.
