Stagecoach is a 1939 western film which tells the tale of a motley group of strangers thrown together on the stagecoach to Lordsburg, which is attacked by Apache warriors. It stars Claire Trevor
and John Wayne
in the role which made him a star.

The screenplay is an adaptation of 'The Stage to Lordsburg', a short story by Ernest Haycox.
