| Stuart McGugan is a Scottish actor, born 2 March, 1944, in Stirling, Scotland. He is probably best known for playing Gunner 'Atlas' Mackintosh in the BBC sitcom It Ain't Half Hot Mum. He was first seen on television as a presenter on BBC's Play School in 1964, and most recently in Family Affairs in 1997 as the character Derek Simpson.
