Susan Anspach was born on November 23, 1942 and was raised in Queens, New York; Paul Simon was a neighbor. According to one source, she was born in 1939 (see http://www.amctv.com/person/detail?CID=3120-1-EST), however this is impossible as she graduated from high school in 1960.

She is a critically acclaimed actress who starred off- Broadway in A View from the Bridge with Robert Duvall, Jon Voight and Dustin Hoffman.

She went on to star in several Broadway and off-Broadway which included the female lead in the musical Hair and an Actors Studio play with Al Pacino.

Ms. Anspach went on to films and starred in 19 features and 8 TV movies, as well as starring as a regular in two series, The Yellow Rose and The Slap Maxwell Story (opposite Dabney Coleman)
