An adult film star, transsexual Sylvia Boots appeared in Lisa Lawrence's Birthday Bang (1999), which was written and directed by Lisa Lawrence. Boots was born in Cuba, of Hispanic ethnicity. She is 5' 5" tall, has black hair, and wears a 34DD size brassiere.

Like Lisa Lawrence, Ana Paula Botelho, Olivia Love, and many other transwomen, Ms. Boots has appeared in numerous adult videos (see list below).

Murder conviction

In 2003, Boots was convicted of first-degree murder for shooting Laura Banuelos ("Crystal"), the vice-president of Los Angeles-based Transgeneration 2000. The shooting occurred outside West Hollywood's Yukon Mining Restaurant.

Boots, who was a featured performer at the West Hollywood transgendered Club 7969, formerly known as "Peanuts," shot Banuelos in the chest and the head. The shooting occurred as a result of an escalating, weeks-long argument between the two as to which of them was the more beautiful.
